We investigate the optical properties of the hybrid crystal ZnTe(C2H8N2)0.5 from first principles. The excitonic effect is included by solving the Bethe–Salpeter equation for the two-particle Green's function. The inorganic ZnTe acts as optical active layer and the excitonic wave function is confined within it by C2H8N2 layers. Due to the confinement of electronic states, electron–hole interaction within ZnTe layers is enhanced and the absorption spectra are thus changed drastically. The exciton binding energies are 0.54 and 0.42 eV for α and β structures, respectively. The calculated quasiparticle gap of the β structure is 3.68 eV.  相似文献

We have investigated the magnetic behavior of ball-milled fine particles of well-known Kondo lattices, CeAu2Si2, CePd2Si2 and CeAl2, by magnetization and heat-capacity studies in order to understand the magnetic behavior when the particle size is reduced. These compounds have been known to order antiferromagnetically in the bulk form near (TN=) 10, 10 and 3.8 K respectively. We find that the features due to magnetic ordering get suppressed to temperatures below 1.8 K in the case of fine particles of ternary alloys, though trivalence of Ce as inferred from the effective moment remains unchanged. In contrast to this, in CeAl2, there appears to be a marginal enhancement of TN, when the particle size is reduced to less than a micron. These results can be consistently understood by proposing that these compounds move toward left in the Doniach magnetic phase-diagram, for instance, due to relatively more 4f-localization, as the particle size is reduced.  相似文献

In this article, the active control method is used for synchronization of two different pairs of fractional order systems with Lotka–Volterra chaotic system as the master system and the other two fractional order chaotic systems, viz., Newton–Leipnik and Lorenz systems as slave systems separately. The fractional derivative is described in Caputo sense. Numerical simulation results which are carried out using Adams–Bashforth–Moulton method show that the method is easy to implement and reliable for synchronizing the two nonlinear fractional order chaotic systems while it also allows both the systems to remain in chaotic states. A salient feature of this analysis is the revelation that the time for synchronization increases when the system-pair approaches the integer order from fractional order for Lotka–Volterra and Newton–Leipnik systems while it reduces for the other concerned pair.  相似文献

The paper discusses the physics of magnetization reversal in granular magnetic films. It gives an overview of the key physical properties that determine the collective and macroscopically observable magnetization reversal behavior. In particular, the multitude of observable hysteresis loops is reduced to three key physical quantities, namely the single grain switching field distribution D(hs), the inter-granular exchange coupling constant Jex, and the magnetostatic interaction constant Jms. By varying the relative influence of these quantities, many different shapes of hysteresis loops can occur, which is documented by experimental examples. The regime of partially and strongly correlated reversal is discussed in detail, and minor loop measurements are presented that show scaling behavior for strongly correlated magnetization reversal in the vicinity of hysteresis loop criticality.  相似文献

A novel methodology for the preparation by focused ion beam (FIB) of needle-shape specimens in specific sites underneath the sample surface for their study by electron tomography (ET) is proposed. In particular, we demonstrate this methodology for the fabrication of needles containing InAs/InP quantum dots (QDs). The main challenge of this methodology is the location of specific QDs in the FIB equipment, as they are not visible with the secondary electrons detector. In order to overcome this difficulty, a series of marks visible both in conventional transmission electron microscopy and in the FIB are introduced before the preparation of the needles. The conditions for the fabrication by FIB of needles with optimized characteristics for their study by ET are also detailed.  相似文献

Magnesium (Mg) and Strontium (Sr) doped Calcium fluoride nanocrystals were synthesized by co-precipitation method. The cubic structure of the samples was confirmed by Powder X-ray diffraction. The average crystallite size of Mg doped samples was found to be ~ 25 nm whereas in Sr doped one it was ~ 35 nm. The morphological features revealed that the nanocrystals were agglomerated, crispy and porous. The as-prepared samples showed the presence of hydroxyl groups. The optical absorption spectrum of as-prepared Mg doped samples showed a strong absorption band peaked at ~ 233 nm whereas the Sr doped one showed a prominent absorption peak at 248 nm. A strong PL emission was observed at ~ 300 nm in Mg doped samples. However, the Sr doped samples showed two prominent emissions at ~ 345 and 615 nm.  相似文献

微波辐射下,在水溶液中以KOH催化苯酚与六氟丙酮三水合物(HFA·3H2O)的缩合反应,制备了2-(4-羟-基苯基)六氟异丙醇的异构体混合物;目标产物结构经IR、1H NMR和MS确认。 结果表明,与传统加热法相比,微波辐射法可明显缩短反应时间。 在n(苯酚)∶n(HFA·3H2O)∶n(KOH)=3.0∶1.0∶0.3及微波功率为300 W条件下,反应时间可由常规加热法的35 h缩短至6 h,总收率由87%提高到90%,目标物产物选择性为94%。  相似文献

搭建了一套纳升级电喷雾-离子源离子迁移谱仪。首先,分别对尾吹气流速、溶剂流速等影响仪器去溶剂化效果的参数进行了研究和优化。在此基础上,用一系列胺类化合物对该仪器的去溶剂化效果、分辨能力以及灵敏度进行了表征。实验结果表明,该仪器能够对电喷雾离子液滴实现完全去溶剂化;三辛胺的检出限可以达到10 μg/L。最后,将该仪器用作高效液相色谱的检测器,在无需衍生化的条件下对胺类混合物样品进行检测。由三乙胺、二乙胺以及丁胺组成的混合样品被成功分离并测定。该系统对三乙胺、二乙胺以及丁胺的线性响应范围均达到近两个数量级。  相似文献
